Project Description: 

Kevin Eisenhower is part of the Mechanisms Group at Swales Aerospace, working closely with a team that designs tools for astronauts. Currently, they are involved with the fast-paced development of robotic tools and end-effectors for the proposed Hubble Space Telescope Robotic Servicing and De-orbit Mission(HRSDM). Mr. Eisenhower has held the responsibility for system development for the complete life cycle of two robotic tool prototypes for use during the HRSDM,from conceptual design and detailed CAD to oversight of manufacturing and product delivery to NASA GSFC. He has even tested his tools in the NASA GSFC Class 10,000 High Bay Clean Room.
